Girls basketball falls to Cohasset in sectional finals |
(March 6, 2010) The girls varsity basketball team lost to Cohasset 58-49 in the at Div. IV South sectional finals Saturday at UMass-Boston.
The third-seeded Whalers, who beat number-two South Shore Christian 55-35 Tuesday in the semifinals, finished the season 21-3.
Cohasset beat Millis 54-40 in the other semifinal.
Nantucket easily beat Westport 64-41 Friday at home in the quarterfinals.
