Angela Paterson becomes NHS girls basketball's all-time leading scorer |
(Dec. 30, 2009) For four years, Angela Paterson anchored some of the most successful Nantucket girls varsity basket ball teams in school history as the classic go-to shooter. In Feb ruary she cemented her rightful place in Whalers history as the girls basketball all-time leading scorer.
Knocking down 24 points against Lighthouse Conference foe Provincetown on Valentine’s Day, the senior co-captain, four year starter and 1,000-point scorer passed Kari Harvey as the all-time leading scorer in school sport history.
