Former Somerville man charged with murder in stabbing of fellow housepainter |
(Dec. 30, 2009) The island was rocked by its second murder in four years March 5, when a former Somerville man allegedly stabbed to death a fellow housepainter on Cato Lane following an afternoon of drinking.
Thomas E. Ryan, 50, of 69 Cato Lane, who had been living on Nantucket for about six months, was arrested early the next day and charged with the murder of Scott Bernard, 39, for merly of Beverly.
